If anyone in west sussex is interested i do cheap but quality repair work to any golfs mk1 and mk2

i dont charge the earth as i work from home so have no overheads all work is to the highest standard i am a vw nut with my own projects on the go but help people who are strapped for cash i dont like seeing people ripped off and golfs sitting around cos the owners skint

heres a basic price guide

clucth replacement ?80 labour u supply clutch

head gasket replacement ?40 for skim ?60 labour you supply parts

i do not charge an hourly rate as i do this in my spare time i also do welding to mot standard

About time m8 l0l seriously this lad can turn cars around at 20vt speed and wont skimp on quality he loves vws.

can to the 20vt conversion for ?4000

this includes engine gearbox
emerald ecu mapped to 200bhp
intercooler and hoses
and lots of misc items


or you supply parts and labour is ?1800

could do with someone taking a good look at my moto, i think defo exhaust and downpipe for a start, if you havev any free time it'd be appreciated. A lot.

How much to do the conversion on a clipper?
And how long would it take?

Failing that I wouldn't mind just getting the clutch and piston rings done and a good going over as she needs some tlc, so quote me for that too.

Hi there ill look at how much the kits are and get back to you obviously you can pick up second hand kits alot cheaper once you have the kit its not a big job to fit less than an hour i would imagine :wink:

I had a gander at the carbs etc and i found one from southern carbs at ?240 inc vat and del.I find the price a little bit steep but i may be wrong.Any thoughts?

new webber carbs are indeed expensive try ebay just incase also fitting a webber is not a huge job

if you wanted to try and fit it yourself it wouldnt be a to much hassle as a forum im sure we could talk you through very easily :wink:

the guy i share the workshop is a wheel refurber but also does shotblasting and valeting
