G40 conversion anyone

I'm afraid i have no proof of it! lol! It was at the Ace Cafe meet about a year ago and i got chatting to the owner, Chris Thompson, and we spoke for ages then offered to take me out in it! It went off the 120mph clock by the end of 3rd gear…. we were in 5th gear by the time we had to slow down!

If you go back about 3-4 months in, i think, Golf+ mag you'll find he was in a shoot out with another car with similar performance. It's the white MK1 that got a 0-60 in 5.89 8)
