Me of course, cheeky!
The best bit is off to South Africa for honeymoon. She thinks thats its the Anglo-Dutch connection why we are going, but I think that all the photos of the scenery will have a VW in them somewhere……
Planning on leaving my clothes at the hotel and bringing back a suitcase full of MK1 goodies.

no problem  I would vote if a party wasn't in it for the money
I liked the Monster Raving Looney Parties idea of the 99p coin a few years ago though! Genius

The future missus is from Holland is the bit you are missing. Boer war and all that, English V Dutch colonies fighting for South Africa (well after they found gold and diamonds and it was worth fight over). It?s a bit contrived but means I?m of to Capetown at the end of the month, hurrah! RHD MK1s

Are you taking orders before you leave?? You might even manage to pay for the honeymoon with the profits!!

Been up to Bradford today and Diesel was ?1.03 a litre in a petrol station just across the road from the council's yard. I hope they all fill up there  Mind you we probably pay for their fuel too.

Well ?10 fuel has just done me 3 days to work and back, it used to do 4 days not so long ago. Worked out the price increases in the last few weeks are going to cost me around an extra ?10 - ?15 a month to get to work and back.

I found a garage near me thats selling real 4 star (surplus stock from a refinery) for an amazing ?1.186 ppl was going to try it until i saw the price. Optimax in norwich is around 0.93 to 0.94 ppl. I can remember when a tenner lasted for just more than 100 miles in a GTI. Not a chance now

Reading in a newspaper that over 60% of petrol stations dont have the facility to go over 99.9pence so they will need new signs making if fuel prices begin to rise?
Suppose they'll put petrol up a bit more to cover the cost though

Something worth looking at:
BBC NEWS | UK | Further fuel protests threatened
I enjoyed the previous fuel protests but then again, i didn't have a car back then! This is going to be fun!
