Great pics!
I went too, I didn't take my camera but I took a few with my phone, not really good enough quality to do the cars justice though.
My highlight has to be the Llasa green GTi TKY454Y, the car is impossible to fault and looks like its just been delivered from VW - a real time-warp and a complete credit to its owner. The closer you look at it, the better it becomes.

It was for sale and I think he wanted ?3800 for it and was very tidy. A734 was also for sale he wanted ?1800 which seemed good value as there was only a bit of rust near the rear wheel arch and a small dent. Rest of the body was immaculate IMO. But had covered 229000 miles which suggested why the price was so low.Who's is that Red GTI KUC 419X ?
There was some very good examples out there and made me wonder if these people actually used these cars.
Oh and Walt was told that he had one something in the standard competition, so he then decided to take the P out of one of the judges car :dontknow:
Needless to say he one nothin

Walt - given one of the judges owned a peppermint green VR6 converted Mk2 with rollcage and the other owned a 20VT Lupo with stripped-out interior and bucket seats, (and both entered the 'engine sound-off' competition - I kid you not), you were NEVER gonna win !
Blasting 'I would walk one thousand miles' by the Proclaimers out the stereo never helps in the street cred. department either. You need DJEV to mix you up a Nolans mega-mix for next time ………….

8O The sound off competition, I coulldn't believe it and what a row. The event was which type of car air or watercooled sounded the best when revved until the engine almost blew up. A definate max power influenced competition to keep the kidz entertained (low mk1 and kins were jumping around and giggling with excitment ). Then to have these blokes judging the standard car round (even though they new there stuff) seemed odd. They ripped walts car to bits and I heard one of them say that silver mk1 in the car park was in better nick (the 1st picture) just needed a grill :?
Nowt wrong with the Nolans I'm in the mood for dancing is a floor filler.
