Cold Start Problem (again)

Can injectors be chemically cleaned to give them new life ? Has any one had this done and if so how much was it ?
I've managed to stop injectors leaking on my black car, I took them off, soaked them in fuel over night and then used an air line to blast the muck through them. It seemed to work and the car started on the button after that.

They do have tiny filters inside them that probably clog up a bit? I think its definately worth trying if your's are leaking before you go and buy new ones like I did for my cab before I found out about this tip.

Cleaning (by ultrasound, incidentally) is most beneficial on diesel injectors

I remember a previous post on this, no one actually tried it though.

Depends how much it costs to have done? Would have to be cheap as you can buy new ones for ?26. Suppose more useful for modern cars - modern injectors can be ?150-?200 each 8O .
