They had no info for either of my originally-UK Golfs. I figured this was because they were both exported out of the UK In 1999, but they did have info on my '93 Audi 80, although this was also exported (in 2003).
By the way, the manufacture date on the Audi was also wrong - was really made in March '93, registed in June '93, but RAC reported it made in Dec '93!

Guy told me he was going to scrap it :cry: but obviously he never, its even showing the colour change cause its down as blue when it was originally white and I never bothered changing this after I had it painted.
Thats my little story anyway :mrgreen: might do a nation wide hunt now for my old mk1, would be interesting to see how its changed.

And it was originally white, I sprayed most of it in primer so expect they've gone for the mexico look!

It was a proper little bargain though, 1.3 CL model, ?175 with a years MOT, had it for a year, over 10,000 miles of relatively trouble free motoring!! I then brought a metro of all the cars to buy!! (well I was young, and they were cheap!!)
Nice to see the details on my current golf are correct though!
