Engine rebuild
When its trying to run and we remove the leads 1, 2 & 4 there is no difference but when 3 is removed it cuts out. So it looks like it is only running on 3rd cylinder.

Could it be a tooth or 2 out that it can make it miss like the way it is?

Ok so redid the timing, think it did have a tooth or 2 out, so now its trying to run but still missing a little under excellaration and hunting. Could it be hunting due to lack of fuel, or is timing still out?

What fuel are you using, super or normal unleaded?
Did you mess with the dissy?
Did you adjust the fuel mixture?

one or two teeth out will not cause
a misfire if so so why fit an adjutable
camshaft pulley ? so you can adjust
the valve timing to suit with ease to
suit variable driving conditions

If 1 or 2 teeth would not cause misfire then what is causing it to misfire. It only runs for few seconds approx 5 and cuts out.

There is a post somewhere that details how to set your timing up right. I'd have a read of that and go from there.

Ok so checked the timing marks as on pic, also noticed that when running its noisey around the cam side. Like tappets (i know these are hydraulic lifters).

I marked it with tipex, but could not get a better pic with it being aligned
