Fuel issues

You could be right as my Carb car (mk1 Scirocco) has a smaller tank so I've not looked inside a bigger fuel tank on a carb car, I've only seen inside a larger Gti tank on my 1988 mk1 Golf which still has the original genuine VW tank fitted.

Any one with a Carburetor car and a genuine VW larger fuel tank (space saver spare wheel) seen inside theirs?

think they are the same for both carb and injection, only 1 type available for the cabby.
