Well finally myvalver is getting back to some sort of finished..missing some plastics….again…
But hoping mot soon , maybe just intime to be 're sorted.

Today's winter pics.

Still some work to-do.. refit loose headliner. Change injection hoses.sort out why no power to minidisc player was working before.

Well..busy days… exhaust hanger change .new nightbreaker bulbs upfront.. stripped electric window motor gave bushes a run, light oil. (Now works)  chased hoses for rear wiper found damaged part and repaired.


Maybe similar to faulty mk1 winder.. still new available from atp Germany.. but temp repair see how long lasts.

latest news from the saudi branch, just got agreed valuation on myvalver... 6k.. sounds ok, just hope never need to use the insurance policy to find out if actually works.

well on my return to uk..i had to charge all batteries on cars… 4 on drive..2 in paintshops .
yuppy been out 50 miles this week and Sunday night curry run. snowy just moved up down on drive although fitted skuttle tray and tailgate lifter. caster hrs fine..just 20mins on charger the off he goes. MyValver got hammered this week but now poor starting means time to check

Looking at your pictures of the Mk2 getting sprayed, why did they not remove the door handles… it probably took longer to mask the handle then it is to remove the 2 bolts which old it on and you would get a better finish around the handle…..

hi mate.. .yes handles came off earlier and put back on..was blending afterwards. sadly if the repair shop breaks anything they wait till I get rather than they chase up. what they didn't paint was armour plates  better Matt black

So remainder of updates … mk2 has new alternator… start issues rectified. Bought a suppressor thing for radio….nah that didn't work so no radio only minidisc.

Few more miles added to sportline doing plumbing repairs…

Today divided to fix whirring blower motor in mk2 wow so much easier that mk1. So much so thought I'd start looking at how to remove heater flaps to reseal.  
Changed steering wheel to leather…changed front speakers to some baby pioneer's. Added feltliner to reduce dust. Fitted new bulbs to clocks. Hopefully see difference later on. Blowers work now and feel the difference.

Latest update is out with old radiator on with new alloy unit… feel a bit happier now as car sits a little cooler. 98c instead of 104_6c. Maybe just a little piece of mind. All dash seems to work now…heater still blowing hot after my messing about.  Re hung exhaust.. that's made big difference to in car noise better.. just need to sort aerial for radio.

Last night after fueling i found a small leak …or rather it found me..
Fuel filter under tank. Leaking big time. I changed copper washers but no improvement.
So today chase fuel pipe out.. ready for repair or replacement.
