Great news mate! Looking forward to updates  

Cars are now both in the unit looking sorry for themselves, but in the right spot to be properly stripped down properly - got a couple of hours into the donor last night, gonna go down again after work and get it in bits - then it's a case of cutting the back off for mine, looking forward to it to be honest

So which one is the Donor Si? 😝😂😀

Haha yeah. The rear inner and outer panels on mine have rotted away around the boot lid and it's had a rear end as well so the rear panel is pushed against the wheel well, this car is solid so I'll be using the panels off that

Not really to be honest mate, been working late most evenings so haven't had a chance to get there. Should calm down in a couple of weeks though, so hoping to get some serious work done!

Decided not to get hammered last night (for a change) so down the unit for about 9.30 this morning, after a maccies. Cut the front off the donor and took the engine out on Thursday night planning on stripping a lot of it today - I need to get it out the way so I can get the proper donor in here!

Here's how it currently looks… Wings being a pain, never been off! It's all getting sold to find the project / the rear panel

Yeah no worries I'll have a look, think it's all there actually - won't be there again until mid next week though now

That's no worries I lost mine 10yr ago when rebuilt car

Spent another Friday / Saturday on the Cabby, the only bits left now are front suspension and brakes, some brake an fuel lines and some glass, it's almost time to start cutting!

Plan on doing the rest this week after work if possible, then it's a case of starting to strip the rest of mine down and start scrubbing all the gunk off, can't wait….

Went down tonight and stripped everything out the back end, wiring the lot of it! Let the drilling / cutting commence!

Got some more time in yesterday / today. Wiring it completely out from the boot to the fuse box, same with the behind the dash / dash out.

Servo and master cylinder gone, as well as the brake bias + pedals. Steering column is gone as well. And dropped the front suspension Inc wishbones etc.

All that's left to do now is to remove the top seal above the window, the brake lines to the back and the fuel lines and the wiring and then it's just metal.

Got a couple of panels people want, but I'll be using the complete back end, boot floor and inner and outer rear panel for mine. As well as rear quarters and the passenger sill. Everything else will go to the scrap man and then it'll be onto mine for stripping to the same level - least I know how to do it now!
