Hi thanks! If by 'turns' you mean steering wheel, in the UK we got the similar leather clad wheel to the mk2/Corrado although the lower spokes are curved not straight as on mk2  I believe. Euro spec ones (like my last LHD one) got the nice three spoke leather item with red stitching. They go for big money over here!! Considered a mk2 polo s wheel trimmed up but keeping mine OEM for now.

The badge refurb stuff is pre cut and on eBay. The seller (kemarr I think) does them for lots of VWs of the era. I'll get the 'Karmann' ones and a front 'GTI' one next as it went ok on the rear.

I mean the turnsignals at the Front..  I have a Black Sportline.. Reg Kevin

Ah I see. Might be different elsewhere and black looks better but I think orange is as per the brochure 

Yes but the OEM turnsignals for a Cabriolet Are in the Size different. The Color is right at your red one..

No mate definitely the clipper kit originals! Here's a pic when I took 'em off for cleaning. The thinner mk1 and small bumper Mk2 type I know couldn't fit. I painted the bumper iron surrounds black so maybe my poor photography creating an optical illusion lol!

Aha I think I see what you mean! I think my bulb holders are different although I have those lenses so I'll look into that (he says pulling them apart!).

Ok so pulled them apart this evening but to me they look the same as on your last example and correct for the clipper kit fitted as standard. My only guess is that the mountings on the bumper iron need spacing out a bit to make the lenses more flush. Pretty sure I have the correct items though! 

Crazy.. I still think before You Show it that Yours be wrong..  Now sorry that im wrong..
So all is Fine..

Ok so been a while and as usual a bit skint - kids on summer holidays etc etc. Anyway made a start on the arch decals - I've got one off and what a pig that was! As with many things when you start tackling one thing that looks ropey, you uncover another - in this case the beading that goes between the arch trim and the arch. At the point of no return now so prized it back in and will apply the decal tomorrow before starting the less bad side. Good news is no rust it would seem.

Also bagged a green backlit Gamma IV - ever so slightly later than my car but 4x20 watts, mint condition and all the 'knobs' in English! Pics when it's in.

Sounds Nice..  Any other planed for it?

Always plans! For now there is off the top of my head; clipper kit gasket trims, rear lock seal, new windscreen and seal, sort the tiny and as far as I know only bit of rust under screen while its out, refit front carpets, respray bonnet and rear bumper,  source and replace centre console blank, new door strikers, correct hella light board in offside rear lense, new header tank, gear selection rods kit,  bilstein shocks on standard springs, standard style stainless mid and rear exhaust box, air inlet pipe to airbox, new lights all round, refurb silver on the rims - maybe some BBS RMs……… Well you did ask!!

Well one is on. Not 100% happy as there are some areas I struggled with. Second one coming off tonight!
