ok front door speaker budget upgrade and sound dead to up the mid bass

sound dead pads to try and lock the bass in   


left hand door full sorted and boy did that work  canny happy with that

 

Sounds much better.  

lowered the car 40mm but not happy with it at all very uneven

how badly rotten are these rear shocks  





i really don't like the way she sits  to low at the back and to high at the front  ….coilovers coming up i think  

door card dilemma , rear has faded to a horrid yellowish colour

The suspension will settle after a few days to the right ride height, did you also replace the front top mounts and rear rubber top mounts, one on top and one just above the spring cup?

 its been on for a few weeks now still looks poo , no i didn't but i am going to when i fit the coilovers

she also go a nice treat of a new hood

Where did you get your new from and how is the quality, did you fit it yourself?
I need to do mine and can't seem to find a white one as BAS international has stopped selling white roofs.

i had mine fitted up in newcastle where i live by problem the best upholsterer going  …Angus Kish  , he buys his hoods in from germany

Back seats getting there now  , stripped them out to jet wash them but they dried real bad  , i will never do that again  







They dried all patchy after jet wash so i fully stripped the lasky cloth off and machined washed on a 60 with vanish  , they came out amazing but the main tension wire was rotten so i had to hand pick the seem apart  





fitted the seat back in and fully scotch gaurded them  

New crystal black rear tail lights  from classic -vw thanks mark  

then i had a thought od putting a GTI stripe on it



 

New meaning for headlight wash  …. i have wasted £50 on 2 sets of lights  one of which the glass fell out and the other the mount lugs are in the wrong place  , so i tried to wash the white frosted stuff  out of the lights  

unreal how the have came out  

Did the same thing one the inner spots on my white cabby, take a while to clean them but well worth it
