So what's left to do. Well get tyres fitted to new rims. Sort two water leaks nothing major just thermostat housing and heater control valve. Then run up to temp double check everything is working as it should. Then off to the rollers for balancing, service and jetting of the carbs and a mot. Garage has a three week waiting list so I am booked in for the second week of November. Then I will see if all this work has been worth it lol. I will keep you all posted.

So the day has finally came I have finished my Mk1.A little bit excited to say the least. Got to say it has been a long hard road made easier by the guys on this forum for bits of advice and guidance a big thank you. Steal price on the tyres  :thumbs:

Can you let me know (if you don't mind) what the cost on the rolling road and carb set up costs you.

Got twin 45's on mine, and think it over fuelling a little and would be great to know a ball park on what rolling road and set up costs

Hope it all goes well, car's looking great
