Glass going back … remember taking this out months ago thinking how much work Iv got to do and how long it will take ..not been to bad though or taken aslong as it could have

Haha only just read your reply regarding sound deadening. Denso flashing tape already ordered. Car looks great m8 I'm at similar position as yourself m8 hope mine looks as neat as yours.

Haha I must admit was abit daunting when I first got it didn't know where to start since not done anything of this scale before but its been great loved every Minuit of working on it and as you say know it inside out

Right Update time Made abit of progress been messing about with the dash and electrics trying to get everything working properly mostly …done lots of little bits and pieces and having to buy a lot of new bits as the old either missing or not good enough to fit

Some Chrome on




Wings on




New bolts

New grill ends

Fitted
Front bumpers on
Rest of the grill fitted …Missing a end chrome piece though if anyone has one let me know ?


Big box arrived ..

Brand new carpet
New heater matrix, Door seals, Heater control levers, Vanity light seals

New interior light switch seals old ones are nakerd

Got some new polished door locks look so much better than the old ones


Started fitting the dash



Going to pick some seats up over the weekend ready to be re-trimmed not sure what colour or material yet … thinking of doing the centers in this http://store.jpmcoachworks.com/collections/vw-fabrics/products/vw-gtd-clark-plaid-by-the-foot and the bolsters in black leather so it will be a modern vw cloth but that looks similar to the old …not sure though….maybe just to it all in black leather or vinyl …Any Opinions Guys ????????????
