Morning guys made some good progress last few weeks dispite finding some more rust holes and having to buy more welding gas ….got it all striped down and the epoxy on and most of the filler work done. im now starting to get it prepped for first coat of primer Got the steering rack painted up befor

My air fed mask system arrived this week all the way from America so I can spray 2k safely now

Thanks buddy …Yep on my first car I had to do a lot of work as I was to young to afford to pay anyone to do it so taught myself from their really sprayed a few cars now including a 66 beetle …this is by far the biggest project iv done though….Good fun though

Been a while thought id update…been busy but I have managed to get a second coat of epoxy primer on a first coat of 2k primer …then guide coated and blocked all the panels showing up any low spots to filler ..then managed to get a last coat on too haven't got any pics of this yet but will put some on soon …So glad to be finished with all the sanding and dust lol…..Ready for paint now some time next week should start getting some paint on Cant wait!!!

at least the end of painting, then the fun stuff start.

Big Update time ….managed to get the last coat of primer done and sanded and Sunday and Monday managed to get her painted   pretty pleased with the finish I got still going to wet sand and polish though to get rid of the orange peel

Done the engine bay, interior and bonnet first





Then got all the insides and engine bay masked up ready for painting the outside




Everything in my garage is now blue lol








Painted engine parts to match


Now better start sanding and polishing it look out for more updated soon

Thanks a lot guys I am pretty pleased with it   ..not done anything of this scale before. First time spraying a whole car with 2k paint, although its much easier to get a good finish from than cellulose …Its not perfect though lol. Nearly finished the sanding and polishing  will get some pics up over weekend

Evening all, Iv been busy again got the whole car bar the bonnet sanded with 1200-1500-2000 and polished back up its not perfect missed a few dents and got a few fish eyes shame prob me being picky though …got the steering rack and brake servo back in and all the brake pipes made and brakes bled.

Few bits for the brakes
 
Made them as neat and tidy as I could hid the 3 way blocks under the servo



Put some P-clips on and wrapped the steering boot in foil tape to protect it abit more from the exhaust


Very specialist brake bleeding tool

Also got the rocker cover painted and the lines polished up

OH Yeah looks sweet !!!!!!!!
