yup…. now I just need to get the front arb off and replace the passenger side drive shaft boot get a whole bunch of stuff powdercoated and maybe sometime this millennium get it all put back together….. was sposed to be a quick replace the power steering pump belt and slap an mot on it, so much for that eh!  

LOL nothings ever easy hey. Just got to keep pushing. There will always be one more thing left to do. But at least it keeps one busy and out of trouble. With the exception of the wife. you'll always have some kind of issue with her because your spending to much time with your "other wife".

That is just not fair. No wonder some of these projects go so quick. Those guys are probable also single. Good luck mate. Once the car is done and your rolling down the street I'm sure you'll be getting allot of proposals.

scored ma self a S1 chrome rear bumper today… chrome ain't in the best shape but was only 50 notes complete with end caps and irons, recon i'll strip it and have it powdercoated satin black

Sounds like a plan. I'm still searching for a bargain on some of those small bumpers. Very expensive this side to buy them new.

just quickly slapped it on just to see what it will kinda look like with S1 bumpers…. I recon I am liking it!

it is quite rough and not really useable as is but recon it'll be fine once the chrome has been removed and powdercoated (I hope at least anyways!!)

Anything can looks as good as new again with a little mending. I'm sure it will come out looking great.

kinda finished refurbing my gm calipers …. well got new seals and dust boots on anyways

and then moved on to my favourite job in the whole wide world……

de-grouting the underside of ma cabby….

it's pretty damn solid underneath all the dirt and I am happy it's like that coz I dunno if I would be impressed if I found more stuff to sort!
slow progress tho as crawling under the car on my back in a bunch of 22 year old dirt and water is not particularly high on my jobs I like to do list!!

got some parts back from powdercoating the other day so I installed (with a tad of help from ma bruv) the rear arb onto the beam fitted with superpro polly bushes !





and a nice new fuel tank arrived today!
