R32, the noise, the noise!    

Was considering a mk1 focus RS but no keen on interior vs the R32. Good buys out there for the cash 

My mate had an ST Focus, lovely noise from 5 cylinders and the interior was actually an extremely comfortable place to be. R32 does sound nicer though  

ok so its done!

I found one !!

 I bought it at entry level R32 money to allow me to pay the 2k off I have outstanding on a personal loan I took out to buy my 520D M Sport beemer, so once the beemers sold that will be paid off :-)

As I got it at a good price it will need a little TLC, I am going to re paint front and back bumpers, give it a service as due soon, and maybe a Miltex cat back  

The paper work with the car is exceptional , it was bought by a doctor from new, he must have paid for extended VW warranty to 5 years as had been back in for warranty work for first 5 years then after the both the Dr and next owner has had it in VW for everything even wipers and tyres !!

It also came with an actual VW A4 ring binder with all the history in (and everyone know how much I love a folder) and someone at some point has even kept the original rear window dealer sticker and popped it on proper peel of sticker backing and put it in the folder.

Its was a 12 hour round trip to get it altogether but well worth it, and I even averages 30.6mpg on way back which i'm happy with.

Looks nice Rich !! i've got the v6 4mo but i'm So…. tempted to get one of these instead. Doesn't help when there are so many nice ones flying about wörthersee at the minute. That sound !!!

Mpg on the V6's just comes down to how you drive it, lots of peeps don't like to own due to the mpg but i recently bought a 4 motion and im getting up to 35 mpg and 30 mpg on a 8 mile run to work, done 170 miles on 30 quids worth and thats not motorway miles, also owned a vr6 and was getting about the same even managed to get it up to 39 mpg non motorway but that was hard work lol

If i had that sort of cash to spend on a car i would of considered a R32 skyline
