Rear inner arches look very smooth have you filled/welded them into one piece?

So a few updates. I spent some time on the engine on saturday. Got the G60 flywheel and VR6 clutch bolted on
also managed to get my new inlet manifold painted
And Ross (the bloke painting the mk1) just sent me these.
Great to finally see some colour back on it

More progress with the bodywork.
I stopped by to see the mk1 yesterday and was very pleased to see that it is now all painted. It still needs flatting back and a polish but it still looks great. Really do love the colour:
And a nice little comparison of how the bay use to look vs now

Thanks guys. Can't wait to get it back and start putting it back together.
How do you mean? I would deem this pretty smooth. I have removed all the seam sealer, blanked off all the unwanted/ unused holes, and removed the battery tray and brackets. Apart from boxing off the chassis legs (which looks naff) what else is there to smooth? I guess you could loose the scuttle tray but I had no reason to take it out.
I guess my goal was to clean up all the untidy parts and just keep it nice and clean
