I have got two superlight bulk packs, according to the figures about 14kg in total. when i first looked at it i thought it was going to weigh alot more. the proof will be when i have it on the road to know if its worth the 14kg.

i have not updated this in awhile due to a few problems with the car.
after going so well at the beginning of the year, we hit some walls with the front panel getting dented, then someone in the garage jacked it on a seal and bent it. then the vinyl on the boot was wrong twice and after being removed the second time it damaged the paint. after discussions it was agreed to respray the whole car which has lost me alot of time. i then planned to spend most of a week on it but ended up being delayed in an airport for a few days. this lost me days off from work that i cant get back.
Finally getting it back up to where it was.
installed the gauges
working on masking up the wheels.
and finally the car.
going down this saturday to hopefully help it along its way. also planning a trip across Europe next year in it.

Looks great! There's been some graft put into this one!
The finish line must be in sight now?

Hope so, want to run the engine in and give it a good shake down before the winter sets in. Make sure it's good for a trip to Europe

I like your approach to refurbing your P-wheels.
Mine were refurbed before I purchased the car but they didn't re-black the P sections.
What is the blue material you're using on the wheels called? It looks like it can be neatly trimmed thus providing a clean edge to paint up to without tearing or fraying.
Keep up the good work

its called Masking vinyl you heat gun it on and then trim around the edges with a knife. got to be careful with the knife as you dont want to damage the paint underneath.
the more time you take the better the job will be.
