Hi there Baz, yeah im just outside Aberdeen in Inverurie, not really a lot of mk1s up here, well not that you see going about anyway.

Ha yeah that road grime is all deer, the car had just been washed the day it happened!

Where are you based Baz?

sad news mate, but front panel will repair, wing will repair and grill metal with straighten out. just a bumper, grill and headlights mate......aint as bad as it looks. good luck.

Near Inverness, you should come along to some meets next year if you get a chance think most of the meets next year are going to evolve round other classic car events so should be good, i have being to crathes classic car show a few times out your way but never went this year, there are a few mk1s about we had aprox ten i think at glamis last year.

That would be good, id be up for that, i only really got the car going nearer the end of this year so il be looking for any excuse next year for a road trip!

Its all ok now, the bodyshop managed to repair the wing and front panel no problem, replaced the grill with a single headlight one while i was at it as i prefer the single ones.
