My cabby clean up

Managed to get hold of a manual roof frame with a black vinyl hood so swapped out the old power frame and blue hood/ripped liner. Definitely suits the grey more and doesn't leak!

So it's been a while but back to it, I've had the dash out, replaced some broken clips, sorted the radio out and removed about 10 metres of excess extra wiring along with an old antenna cable.

I've also stripped the interior out, carpets up and shampooed and amazing found not a single patch of rust!

Carpet all clean and back in.

I've also changed the coil overs that were on it back to original gear as I was fed up of the crashy ride. I think it also sits better too.
Got the steels ready for some tyres.

And have got hold of a new six bolt manifold and down pipe to get rid of the stupid toilet bowl system.

Thanks, am trying to get it nice and tidy for the summer. I have a busy weekend planned unless the garage has blown away.

Yes am thinking of the steelies going on or I might have some scala snowflakes coming to me.

It's the only way to drive!  or at least get to the pedal box to change cables over.

And so with an early start, some horrid weather and rugby forcing an early finish not a lot has been done.

But here are the picture updates

Next job, filler neck, exhaust and the 'in thing' of tidying up the boot with some black lining carpet and some 3mm neoprene to go behind the carpet to give it a nice soft touch.

Good going and boot cards make such a difference covered. As I have just done mine and chuffed with the results.

Keep up the good progress :-)
