Wheel spacer help/advice!

Want to know what the best wheel spacers would be
Just wondering- some manufacturers put reliefs in the spacers, and since steel is heavy unsprung weight, i was considerning putting some reliefs in the spacers, which line up with reliefs in the wheels. Is this a good idea, as i cannot see a billet steel spacer failing if the aluminium ones with reliefs dont.

The finished article. Cost me 35 quid. Need some 60mm locking wheel bolts now. May convert to studs.
Made some 6mm ones for the back.
