thanks again for the comments, there's not much left to do on the car itself….waiting for a few bits to be sorted, then its of to the tuning company, mot'd  and sold. happy days…..approx 3 weeks…
 

Top work as always and an amazing turnaround.  Thought the sunroof was electric too, till the end.  Any plans on taking this to the AGM ?  I'm sure someone will snap it up there.

Awesome work !!factory  sunroof looks great not the easiest part of a restoration .Not long then before you turn your attention to the swallowtail again .

ok, another update for you…..so its time to do the rear tailgate decal….."so god help me"…..after a lot of advice from people on here…..i still was not confident to do so….here goes…









A little help with the misses hair dryer ( she doesn't know)  


Again, greased all the edges before replacing the glass…


so that was the hard bit over….defo use a lot of soapy water to get the decal in place, before using the heat and scraper to push out the bubbles….really happy with the end result especially as it "was my first time" lol   took a total of about 35 minutes to do….

New speaker wire feed in the doors and rear shelf…as the old one was "cut and repair in several places"


heavily waxoyled in the quarters before the panels went back on..



Rear seat belt, shelf supports, and rear cards, cleaned and refitted.




Front door ares, heavily stem cleaned, then black vinyl treated, followed by black trim wax sealer (buff on then off) I'llpine door speakers added.







forgot to show this picture, the rear inner boot, was also wrapped in cloth tape….(i remember it being like this from factory, a bit of grease and  boot seal then place over it.




Rear lights refitted, with new seals and greased. New plates added too.





Rear parcel shelf and seats (test fit)- brand new infinity 3 way shelf speakers
now don't shoot me down, i'm not a fan of speakers in the rear shelf, but its was the only shelf i had….and it had holes in it.




underlay and carpets…..new cloud nine think underlay…
