What did you use to clean your new dash mate?

Thanks mate, my only hold up is the bodyshop. I used warm soapy water with a soft brush to start with, followed by Mers bumper and vinyl gel. Great on all plastics.

Great work as always , the  sunroof tray looked very rust free in the picture's .Only thing  I don't like are  the number plates they  look a bit tacky.

number plates are number plates mate....wish i didnt have to use them at all. its taken far too long, i wanted to complete within 3months, but due to family problems, work, bodyshop taking the pXXS....think its about 7mths. (3.5)months the at body shop.

they came with the interior…..nice touch i thought.

That is still a excellent turn around.Look forward to the next update.

its still at the body shop lol…..doors and sunroof awaiting paint

might have it back home by friday…..ready for refit….engine bay strip down and refurb too……..FULL STEAM AHEAD ……….hoping to by complete end of MAY early June ready for sale.

Silver is the best colour for a mk1

Just read the full thread, amazing work. Looked great in primer, wish my was primered! Paint finish looks spot on. Matt.
