Heat Shield and component parts

I've drawn them up and am waiting for a quote on 10 pairs (zinc plated).
I'll include Philidas nuts on the small studs as well.

I've had a quote back for 10 pairs of these and they work out to be £25 per pair posted. i think VW classic wanted 16€ each but now are obsolete.

They differ slightly in that the stud is welded on and isn't headed through and welded as per the originals. The stud weld is stronger than the stud itself so I don't see any issues.

Yeah I'm happy if they do the job, I did think when you said £10-15 before that it was a little on the cheap side., so happy with the £25.00.

OK so I have had a few pairs made as near to the originals as financially viable!
Included within the price are heat proof lock nuts.
Apparently obsolete from VW now.

Just been advised that the hangers are actually obsolete and the database was wrong when i made my order, balls! Any chance i can buy a set of these from you Yomp if you have any available.

Received mine today from Yomp and they look great, just got to fit them now.

I second that as good as OEM if not better
