They are the set on here that was for sale. He is local to me and also had them for sale in my local vw club for sale. Got them a bit cheaper to save the hassle of posting etc.

But im well happy with them and got most of the trick bits I want now. Opening quarters, chrome bumpers, small wide split rims and just got VDO gauges aswel instead of the blanking plate.

Top marks mate. She looks a beaut.    

And dont listen to that stupid little smurf. I got them for £300 Martin. 

Got some parts back from my mate after having them sprayed and looks good.

Looking good - like the new bumpers.

Wishbones powder coated, new polybushes, new ball joints and refurbished brackets all ready to be assembled and fitted. (tomorrow hopefully if i can fit polybushes without needing a press)

Car looks great, some nice upgrades too! Try using some lube, a  6" g-clamp and a big washer at either end to push the poly bushes in mate.

Cheers dude. Im also going to dip it in hot water as its makes it more pliable and easier to work with. 

They're fairly easy to get in with a bit of lube as is everything.  

A length of studding works very well

Never got round to doing the polybushes today but was thinking of using studding with a large washer and nut on either end and winding in, woukd that work.

Found something today im unhappy about the hockey seals on the front doors dont touch the glass and leak water into the doors and bottom of doors dont have drain holes. It seems the seals on the bottom of the opening quarters are a bit wide and opens the gap between the inner and outer doorskin and window gap is too large.

Anyone have any ideas on what to do??

The wishbones with my pressed in polybushes and have now been fitted to the car. 

Got these through the post today and hopefully the mk1 will be ready and able to use the green ticket for show and shine. :-D
