Tomorrow my plans are to give it a machine polish, then refit the trim and bumpers. Then I've got some cheap Prosport coilovers (probably rock hard pieces of poop) to throw on and some wheels to put on   will update tomorrow…

It's a parking clock…

I thought that, but not really sure why? So you remember what time you left it there? or to tell the parking attendant?

Lovely car mate. Glad it's arrived in one piece and it's as described. I think that clock will be to inform a parking attendant what time you left the car parked kind of like the modern version of a parking disc used in some towns and cities.

Mate such a relief! thanks buddy, its going to be lovely once its done. i think I've finally got a mk1 thats a keeper.

Especially with original stickers etc, its things like that, that just make it that little bit more retro and original!

Yeah very releived! Love it.

Managed to give it a machine polish and clean today. Also cleaned off all the excess waxoil. Looks abit better…

Then I started to fit the coilovers. Only managed to get the fronts on before it got dark… Rake anyone?? Aircooled style.  





Couldnt resist trying the wheels on.

Wife makes me use one as well… Only ever get to about two minutes past…
