alright ive just spotted this posed and ive been look for a while for a local meet im from coningsby so newark is fine for straight down the a17 and ill come if its sunday because im working on saturday but ill be driving my caddy van because the golf is still in kit for lol but would be nice to meet a few of you just let me no time and place thats ok for everyone and ill see you their

yea we need to get a regular gathering together really. Check tomorrow afternoon though to make sure that its a goer, as i think Andys only penciled in as hes helping his lad sort out a cylinder head this weekend and its dependent weather that goes well

yh thats fine ill just keep an eye out and newark sound a good plan because its just off the a1 i wonder how many more people will pop out of the wood works and it will be nice to see how many mk1s are in lincolnshire

Just been out soaking all the studs etc in WD40 so hopefully head gasket gets finished tomoz and I'll be there

Well long story short, still not got my sons head gasket finished

If it's not sorted by about lunchtime tomorrow I'll have to be a no show.

I've chatted with Chris and on this basis we may postpone - esp. as it may only be the two of us so far! lol

If anyone is planning on coming tomorrow evening please keep an eye out early afternoon for an update

Yep we'll update on here. Fingers crossed I can get it finished quick - and it doesn't snow as forecast!  

Ok so weather isn't helping me with the headgasket so I'm going to be a no show

Have just spoken to Chris - there's a few coming from Notts region too so it's still on, I'll just have to show my face next time!
