Lincoln/Lincolnshire Gatherings

Post

I appreciate that Lincoln's the ar*e end of nowhere but are there any local meets or gatherings that take place this neck of the woods. All seems a bit spartan for members this end :(Chris

Hi Chris

East Mids is a little sparse.

Not sure if this is any help or too far away? http://vwgolfmk1.org.uk/forum/index.php?page=topicview&id=regional_2%2Fpeterborough#post_1257035

I know North Hykem and I know where the pride of Lincoln is? Could be a meeting place?

I Live in Loughborough but I used to work in Newark. If you any where near there we would fly down the 46 for a meet. It a bit of a trek to go all the way to Lincoln. Is there any where central?

Theres the Roman Way pub litterally of the A46/A1 roundabout at Newark (Near the Premier Inn/McDonalds) That could be a good place to try out?
