Nice work. Looks mint. How are the KWs? I've got a set in my boot ready to go on to replace some ebay jobbies and need some motivation!

It's too low to drive, i got stuck on my drive..
But the reverse to the end of my drive was great.

Love it. And a dirty diesel to boot!

Are those the OSVW top mounts? I need to replace mine again so I was thinking of springing for those.

I can't remember now, a guy on facebook who own a restoration company down on the south coast. If you have a look back in my thread i think i mentioned them..

I might end up with a set of those at the rate I am going with mine. The weight of the 20v engine at the front is causing issues with my wheels not fitting.

Went out for a drive last night and the ride is very very good. I wasnt my exhaust that was catching it was the gear change rod and the part under the gear stick as it knocked it out of gear once haha.

Going to raise the car up today so i can use it daily to get the miles up :-D

I didnt raise the car but still drove it.
Again shouldnt have as i cought the exhaust on a cats eye and it fell down and scraped.
Also the car is sat on the drive shaft, which has caused a massive/deep scoring.

Ah well..

you haven't got any supension then if it sat on the drive shaft

Need to sort the oil leak though :-(

That drive shaft issue doesnt look clever at all mate tbh. Needs raising as said by JB asap.

It was fine until i drove it yesterday, so guessing the coils have settled a bit and its just sat it on the drive shaft. Will raise it up 20mm hopefully clear all issues then.

Just thinking what exhaust to get, not sure on the tail pipe design..

I sorted all the current problems tonight..
Raised the car 20mm which gave me 10mm clearance on the driveshaft.

Also fixed the exhaust hanging down by making a bracket and fixing it to the fuel tank strap bolt, so thats well away from the floor now. Going to drive to work tomorrow and friday to get a few more miles on the engine.
I still need to sort out the water pump for the turbo as i dont think its working. (The pump works but unsure if the ignition live i used is duff/bad earth.)

Weekend should be fun :-)

Yer they're great. Did a bit of wiring last night.
Put my water pump on an ignition live and wired a bypass switch onto the main cooling fan to turn on when i want. (mainly for ques at shows).

Going to look at getting some sort of head unit at the weekend.
