Only the one pic for now. I freed off the brakes yesterday as they were binding. The wiper motor appears shot but its pretty solid and the engine and box are sweet.

1st step is to get it moted and back on

Hello and welcome.

Nice looking motor you have there.

There is a meet coming up in Shardlow on the 20th of this month. I organise the meets for Leics, Notts and Derby. Your more than welcome to join us. We are a friendly bunch and invite all new people. Its posted up in the Regional section.

We are all going for a curry. We always have a good laugh. We try to meet once a month and move the venue round to suit all in all areas.

Let me know and once again, Welome.

Thanks Bruce. We may not make this one dependant on how time goes getting it on the road. Will keep in touch though and come along to a meet in future.

No worries. You dont need to bring the car to the meet. You can just turn up and join in.

Lots of cars are off the road or sorn this time of year.

Not many of those left now. My brothers 1st ever car was a X-reg Golf C in monaco blue back in about 1987.

1983 Mars Red 1.8 Golf GTI
1987 Alpine White 1.8 Clipper Cabriolet

The trouble with doing nothing is that you never know when you are finished.
