I knew I'd recognised this motor!! This was put up on the alldubs pictures a while back,

Stunning purely stunning!!!

A brief history is that a woman in Washington bought this new in 1980 and shortly afterwards moved to Hong Kong. This car was then given to her daughter who stayed in the US, but as she couldn't get on with the manual 'box she rarely drove it.

The wheels are BBS E57 Centrelock 3-Piece Wheels that I have built in 16x7 and 7.5 with custom machined hubs.

I really am totally blessed to own such a clean motor. Here is a photo of the 'bay. It's unbelievable. I still haven't even spent an hour cleaning the bay. Could easily keep it original but clean it up lovely.



Thanks for the kind words. It's easy to become used to walking past this in the workshop whilst pottering on other things. Sometimes it takes someone else's prod to realise just how wonderful what you have is!

I've seen pics of this car before and it is a stunning looking mk1, only thing I'm not so keen on is the oversized bumpers on the US models but you couldn't really remove them from this car!
