Started to break down the engine for Aqua blasting, skimming and honing..
Piper modified cam, possibly? Lol
Turbo elbow, possibly cast by orks in a cave. Gonna need a pit of polishing me thinks.
I lick of paint before tidying up.
Broke down the turbo for cleaning a rebuilding.
I need to clean up the fins and casing, anyone know of anything I can soak it in?
Some original literature.
New winter wheels.. Need a little tlc, but nothing I can't handle.

Not in the bestest of condition but a bit of tlc, they do just fine.
I've disappointed a few people with my colour choice..
Reflex silver, same as the van..
Make shift drying table! Not the cheapest way of drying paint! Lol.
Good enough for me.
Gonna need to paint the drum and 30mm spacers, minimum! Lol.
VagROOTS next Saturday at the Ace Cafe. Get involved.

I've seen this stuff used in vans so I thought I'd give this a bash..
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=191336083826
It was a lot thicker than I thought it would be, kind of like a thick felt.
Thought I'd try the old door cards.
Some of this.
Couple of pegs.
Aaand..
Well chuffed with the out come.

Nice idea though. I bought some black sound acoustic/deadening material off ebay to cover the back of the back seat in my MK2 Golf as the black card was all scratched. It was a quick easy fix as no gluing is required.

Cheers pal!
If you're doing it to some one elses spec, there's no point doing it..

Doesn't look bad at all - a nice flat finish given how thick the material is. Will be interested to see it fitted - and will the thicker material give you any fitting issues?

We'll see if there's any issues. 😁
It's kind of like the felt you'd give your kids to play with, but with a fluffy side.
Before I cut out the speaker hole I worked the hole with knuckles. (Oh err!)
I'm gonna try and line the wheel tubs. Most of the contours in the back will be fine, but the spare wheel well will have to be cut out.
