Friday evening!;

Seized rear wheel bearing…

So this week was a busy one, as I'm wanting to get home for Xmas next week…
New parts;

Tried a puller to get the hub off, which fucked the stub axle up;

So took the angle grinder to the drum;

And the reason it wouldn't come off;

The outboard washer it welded itself to the axle!!

Then took the stub axle off;

The four stub axle bolts came off surprisingly easy, thought i was going to snap them to be honest.

Ready for putting everything back on tonight…

If in doubt get the angle grinder out :lol:

Same with mine mate when we took them off, one came off fine and the other one was stuck on solid. Took a fair bit of swearing and persuasion to get off.

Good luck putting it back together :)

Cheers. All back together now. Minus the handbrakes! Just need new ones.

Back on all fours again:

Finish at 1 tomorrow. So going to get the tracking and camber sorted. And get the new tyres fitted…
Ready for my 300 mile trip back home next Thursday!

Hi mate, have u checked the fuse, one on the right of the engine bay, was a common fault when i had, the engine loses power and turns off when that fuse pops

new tyres fitted Friday…

All sorted (for now!). RAC man towed me off the A30, then told me to crank it over to do a check, and it fired up?!!
Been running fine since. Guess its just a loose wire!
