Right guys eventually ive got a reply for these heat resistant jackets for the steering boots

These jackets are usually used for valves for boiler house pipework and are normally filled with rockwool (like fibre glass) but i asked for them to be made with ceramic fibre so they take high temps
They are sending me a sample which ill put a pic up of for you all to see…

The bad bit…these are not cheap and are costing £46.50 each plus the cost of me posting to you so i would guess you wont get a lot of change out of £50-£55
Would there still be interest in these at such an expense ?

I got the email this afternoon for these but intend to have a chat with the boss tomorrow as ive known him many years and im sure he could do something with that price

No because unknowing to me at the time the governor is in hospital in a bad way. I've left him a message on his phone a few times but now I know why he is not answering I won't bother him to I know he is ok
