9a/6a/KR or 8v mk1 engine wanted for rebuild

Hi guys

I'm looking out for a seized or non running 16v/8v engine to rebuild for a restoration course I'm doing.

If you have one or know of any preferably in the yorkshire area I would be happy to pay and pick it up but it needs to be cheap and out of the car.

A knackered, rusty engine that's been outside for years will do

I've basically got to dismantle and label up, replace parts and install it into my mk1 whilst under assessment.

There must be one somewhere

Hi mate in a good couple of months time or somehwere in the new year I will be selling a 1.8 kr engine with gearbox, the block was been stripped down and rebuilt with few internal bits were replaced I.e valve stem seals/ head skimmed, new gaskets etc and cleaned up and sprayed black and also the box was cleaned up and sprayed silver will be wanting around the 300 mark for this if ur interested I've literally done about 500 miles since its been rebuilt

But obv the thing is it won't be for a few months time at least

Just thort I'd mention that seens as u mentioned u wanted a valver

i got one out of a 1989 1.8 8v on carbs £40 if u want it , its complete

Have a kr bare engine £30 only issue is I'm in Aylesbury

I'm gonna ring local scrapers tomorrow see what's about in the meantime if anyone hears of anything around West Yorkshire  please let me know.
