What's the one thing you regret selling the most?

At the time I was 23, and I also owned this too;


I was living in London, and the cars were all stored at my parent's house, not getting used.  I ended up selling them all to put a deposit down on my first house.  All for the greater good in the end I guess.

Got to admit there is an uncanny likeness to Hannibal Lecter.

Bought this new in '74 and used to clean it nearly every day. Kept it till around '81. My uncle liked the colour, and picked the nearest VW colour for the mk1 golf he bought in '79. This was HGT the mk1 Golf I have now.

Wish I'd not sold this when we bought our house, especially with the lovely BBS Split rims on, think I sold the car for £600 with the wheels on in 1999-2000 when nobody wanted Mk2's lol.

I have owned quite a few cars over the years but this is the one that i was truely gutted to sell 

Atomman , thats a beaut mate!! how long ago did you have that? Are they Gas Burner wheels on there?

Sold it about 4 years ago now, took me 2 years to build it and a lot of money, Porsche bits are just stupid expensive compared to VW stuff. 

Yep your right they are gas burners  repo's thou couldn't afford real ones

Now that brings tears to my eyes.
Bought my Mk1 Escort back in '78' at the age of fourteen.
No engine, me and my mates had to push it a mile and a half back to my parents cottage.
Spend three years doing everything to it, including stripping the outside body back to bare metal and painting it 'Daytona yellow and black'. You name it, I learned how to do it, most times the hard way.
But the thing I regret the most is not selling the car but not having a photo of it now!

Mine was on a 'G' plate, what was that about '67' or '68' off the top of my head.
