well been on here ages but never really posted!
so thougth bout time i started my my mini build tread!

well bought this little beast bout feb time and here he is..



then i dropped it on coilovers…



then treated myself to some new wheels…



well ive changed so much i cant list them all, but this is how he is sittin at the mo…





and plans now are just to tidy him up, i hav a new boot lid for him, get wheels powdercoated, and also bought a new engine for it…






nice abf with R1 bike carbs and custom manifold

well hope you lik, all comments r welcome,

say just wanna tidy him up and make look nice, obv use it everyday so its never gonna
be a show winner but as long as i can make it as nice as i can ill be happy :-)

Cheers mate! Won them cheap on eBay and never seen Any on
A cab before!

Yer 7x15, and there 25mm fk addaptors

I'm quite lucky just banged them on and that's how they sit,



And they hav just the right amount of poke

To make it as clean as I could!

can't get over how good they look, even un-refurbed, they really suit your car.

what tyre size did you go for and any rubbing at all?

i was planning a set of d90 but these look very tempting.

Yer there bare metal, just had them acid dipped!

I will get them powdercoated when I got money after the new engine!

Only reason I got them cos I wanted to be different! Haha

thanks for the info, i have spotted a set of 20mm spacers, do you think they would do?

i know a few folk have said there is very little clearance. don't want to buy these and find them rubbing.

what colour you planning getting the wheels painted?

Well IMO the 25mm addaptors fit fine, give it bit
Of poke and obv I've played with the height and now got t perfect!
And lik I said these wheels hav never rubbed on any of the
Car, other than the arches before I raised it slightly

Well was gonna go gold but then decided to stay silver or chrome as hole car is black with silver and chrome!


But who knows, will prob change My mind again ha!

Car cost me few quid 2day,
Wheel bearings,
 new hub
New center box
New seals and clamps as ripped exhaust off again… Whoops!

Quick little update…


Replaced fuel filter as was leakin



Never sorted outt trackin and this is what happened haha



So then these turned up


Also ordered these as my headlights r poop



And finally got fed up of seein my windscreen wiper arms lookin crap…





And now look new lik this





Now pretty much paid for my engine, so once I hav a shopping list of all the bits I need I guess after x mas it should all be dropped in and workin,
My mate who's doin it reckons can get old engine out and new engine in within a weekend

Bit it's far away from bein mint

But it's a daily so it's never gonna be 100%

Engine all paid for now (minus £1.27 haha)
so ABF on R1 bike carbs will be the new engine

Exhaust manifold and downpipe
Flywheel bolts
Standard flywheel to match your gearbox, OEM or upgrade quality clutch
Fuel pressure gauge, possibly regulator
Choke cable and pull lever
Shortened inlet mani bolts
12 Jubilee clips
Silicon inlet runners
Cone filters




So if anyone has any thing I need let me know
