Hey guys just wondering wht you use your MK1 for is it

Show use ?
General Day to Day ?
every now and again ?

show and every now and then

mainly like to get greese fixing thing (normally made worse by me)

i like to tinker!

I use my diesel everyday , cruising in da hood …….

 Well going to work, shopping, taking stuff to tip ,:-)

Do you have it constantly insured or do you just pay day to day when ya take it to a show or now and then ?

Taking out on nice days + tinkering.

err like to use as much as possible but reality has been 4 times in the last 24 months and that was 2 trips for mot and to garage and back !!!

mines every day, it's sat out in the work car park now in the pouring rain

mostly for the weekends and sunny days, but will drive on rainy days if want to :wink:

One is for daily use and the other for nice days and shows

garage ornament at the minute but hoping to drive it soon

I bought mine as a summer day car, I like driving it so  much that its become my daily(rain or shine!!).  In the last few months I've barely used my mk4 estate.  It would be cheaper to run the diesel estate on a day to day basis but I just don't care!!  I'd rather use the cabby and spend an extra £40 a month on fuel!!

Mines meant to be a sumer car and i usually tax March - Sep, but with some good shows about late in year it often get taxed for an extra few months as well.

I try to drive it in the dry, but often get caught in the rain :-)

Brought my 1991 cabby for a summer toy, fell in love and now use it all the time. Got the bug so bad that I sold my mk6 2009 GTi and got a mk2 1988 gti for when I need to take the kids to school in.

Mine is for summer fun, a few shows and tinkering with it. You learn a lot from these great little cars.

Fair play to ya, we sold our Mk6 too but god I miss it, what a first class fantastic car that was.. note to myself, must get another

Its my daily, and on sunny days its polished, roof down, stereo up, and hair blowin in the breeze…. I get the best of both worlds from my Rabbit!    8)  8)  8)

Taxed all year.
Out whenever I can.
Try to avoid rain !!
