footballers are worse than bankers
Really sad to see though… wish he was like Matt Le Tissier and was on one club man :dontknow: . Just hope Giroud and Podolski step up to the mark because Chamak, Vela, Bendtner, Song (not Alexander) and co just aren't good enough as strikers.

Up untill the season just gone he hasnt really done anything during his time at Arsenal due to injury.
Thats why hes never attracted any attention from other clubs.
So now hes coming to the end of his career (at top level) its only natural he will want to move to try and win as much as he can.
Yes hes been loyal for many years but that was mainly down to the fact he would have struggled to move to a bigger club.
So after one good season hes attracted attention and hes packing his bags.
That sais a lot about him.
But most of the big names that have left over the years have never really been the same once they left.

Just think that whenever a big player has left Arsenal under Wengers reign theres always someone who will step up to the mark and fill there boots.

dont understand what your comment says? If you mean van persie he was a Feyenoord player until 2004 when he joined us. It was his home team since he was a very small lad.
I meant finish his career "at the club he loves". So yes not strictly a "one club man" but if he loves the club I would of liked him to finish his career with us.
He's not happy so in all honesty we should off load him now while we can get money for him and strengthen the team.

I don't support arsenal but if i did then just think he has only delivered for 1 season why not cash in now what if pre season his ligaments go again you guys lose 30 million especially as when he comes back he will be basicly 30 and worth 2:50 to the club, take the cash and buy Benzema now theres a player whos strong and stays fit

I think its going to be a good season but right now Chelsea and Man City look like the two strongest teams :-( out of the two would actually prefer city to take it :-P Chelsea are the only team i loathe with a passion.

Strangely the transfer rumours aren't as frequent this year or is it just me :dontknow: ? For Arsenal, another centre back of Vermaelen or Koscielnys class, another keeper and a couple of creative middies will do me …. we noticed it when Arteta was injured… I didn't think he was that great but left a big hole. as long as Song and Frimppong are fit we have the defensive midfield sorted. Wilshere, Ramsey and Arteta need some backup in the middle and I don't mean Diaby  .
You get to many games?

Arteta has allways been brilliant his pass completion rate is up there with the worlds best no suprise when he was with xavi etc as a kid.
I get to a few funnily enough normally united vs arsenal at the emirates as its easy for me to get too and allways a good game.
LOL Diaby is a donkey :-P i allways thought you should have signed Kevin Nolan a few years ago he would have been perfect never understood why he went to the hammers

Takes about 1.5 hours for me to get to the emirates so wish I was a close as you (jealous). My mate is a United fan and we went to Old Trafford… it's a big place… your supporters are well up for a sing song!! Some of them I can't repeat on here though!!

Old Trafford is a great stadium just never end up in the 3rd tier of the main stand unless you have a telescope its way to high :-D.
Lucky you i have a gartage on my place specifically for the MK1 and now it won't fit as it has cut and welded flared arches so now its a junk/BBQ storage room :-D still a good use me thinks
