saved a rabbits life
Fitted the breather, took me ages to work out what was going on… found 2 pieces of random hose on the floor that helped explain it lol!
The shell is back the right way up, tank and rear beam fitted, rear brake pipes and hoses replaced.
just a small piece of welding on the front to do.
Regards to the loom, im going GTD, ive got a complete mk2 GTD loom and a mk1 GTI loom… which would be best to use? (easiest)

Hi,
use the GTI mk1 loom. You don't need any extra wires for a diesel, except the feed to the glowplugs and the solenoid, I think. I would imagine that the mk2 loom has a lot more wires for other parts which are not needed.

It's been ages since I've been here, other cars and projects mean I haven't had time to finish the last few bits off.
I reckon I'm going to have to sell it before it's finished…
More pics tomorrow in it's current state when I get it out of the barn it's been sitting in for 6 months

Yeah, jetta front end. I've got all the lights and grill to go on.
Just fitted some tie-rod flip bushes.
I'm missing the hoses that connect to the heater matrix which is a pain
