I'm slowly chipping away at the bits to do on mine…
Quick question - what suspension are people running on their diseasels?
Mine has eBay specials at the moment, which aren't great to be fair, and with the probability of a road trip around Europe next year for a honeymoon I'd like the car a touch nicer!
I'm thinking of heading down the GAZ GHU route, but any other advice would be great!

I have a standard diesel 1.6 non turbo but the engine went about 4 years back, its been sat in the folks garage ever since. Last year a mate gave me an AAZ engine in the hope I'd get it running.
I've always looked to you guys for help and advice as I feel I'm always elbows deep.
But yay. Another Diesel (maybe not on the road, but hopefully soon)

I've got one! 1983 1600 diesel with. 5 speed. Currently having a few issues with the diesel pump but surprising good little engine otherwise
Let me know if you've got a pump laying around for beer tokens anyone

I'll be back on the road smoking away by Monday night with a bit of luck! Seal kit and new input shaft have arrived just got to work out how to rebuild it now!
Best start throwing some weld at the rear end after that!
