Ok so where was i, got the engine in so was time to fit pipes and rad ect. After was done it wa time to remove the gear stick…

As you can see in that picture the carpet was caput and needed replacing so ordered a new one that took 2 moths to be made and sent but well worth the wait..

Not fitted yet as i thought best keep it out till the loom was fitted plus i wanted to run some wires for the seats i picked up for her…

So breaks was next on my list to get, picked some g60's up got them home and they had been painted blue so my guessing was the bleed nipples would be seezed and guess what they was and snap on me, so i had to send them off to my mate have them removed and replaced as i could not get them out for love of vw's lol  :banghead:

Sorted

Next up was turbo time as i wanted to run a k03s and as i do these as a side hobby rebuilding them i had one lined up…

Once my engines all ran in i will be going for k04 power but thats long way off yet.

So pretty much had everything but a down pipe but waited for the right time and got one off joe90 nice one dude

Now i feel ill once this came so the car has been in the barn since and only now have i be able to get my ass in gear and send the loom off, well i got the loom back and now i had few more things to get like new coliovers as the ones on the car are shot, so after few questions about best suspention on here and some help from JonP i decided to get some like these

Also i noticed how low the sump was i decided to buy these shallow sump

So this is how the car looks right now :( but not or long as i'm getting on it this week

Few other bits i got her this week to get my ass in gear so watch this space as i will try to get everything on picn video :)

4" front splitter

New steering wheel

Brand new 15" bbs rep's

Thanks for looking update soon :)

So been down to the Mk1 today as i have a week off work i though it would be a good idea to get on with the converstion.

Didn't do a lot today as my mates ramp was being used but as of to mos we both will be on it, but why i was there i put the engine loom back on.

Can wait to get my hands dirty.

Glad i got new coilovers as the car needs to go up fair bit but the coilovers on it are shot.

Anyway up dates soon and hoping to have a vid of first turn over :) :) :)

i'd put some bolts in the wishbones, stops them popping out when moving the shell.

Will do cheers

Did you run the car with and without a lower brace any noticeable changes?

it previously had a brace on but had to swap it to fit the gearbox, not used the car yet with this engine.

The other mk1 i had was a 1.1 that didn't have a lower brace.
