Back in a mk1

So after my accident with my last cabby (r.i.p) seen a few and came across this quite local and pretty fair priced. After checking all the underside, it's solid! No rust.

Engine has Fsh too and a massive folder full of receipts and allll m.o.t certs.

Gunna swap my running gear over to it but for now just gunna clean it up and use this engine for a while and swap in summer!

Cheers.

I'm guessing the one at Meadowhead is this one:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/220974733233

Sold by some guy from Bradway. I'd arranged to view it and was going to go with £2,500 in cash and hand it over if it looked as nice as the pictures.

The day before he rang to say he'd sold it for £2000. I trust he's learn't his lesson not to accept the first offer.

This one's mine, all the way from Perth:

So had a good look around etc today, it is clean etc and rot free but sills are a bit soft :( but I'm
Gunna have new uns welded in ASAP, and tank leaks when full full full lol but got a cabby tank(x2) actually, would those fit?

Anyway doom over had a few hours and got this achievement, Coils on, old rims and a proper fuel filler

Went out and took a few pics also

Me in there looking gormy

List to do, rear discs setup I have, 16v servo and m/c and get sills welded in as soon as my mate can. And remove rear lights there horrid.
