We know this is the best Regional MK1OC meet. Lets keep it that way.

Confirmed by the Chairman at last years AGM that we are the best regional meet in the country

What does 2012 Milton Keynes Region have to offer, Abuse to chelle mk1 from funk because he is in love with her (she wishes) general pi55 taking and fun times.

Q. Where do i park?
A. In the car park next to the other Mk1`s (first left as you go in) or a beautiful MK2 called alfie.

Q. What if my Mk1 isnt on the road just yet?
A. Come along anyway, there is a great source of knowledge and a local member may have spare parts

Q. Will my car be photographed and put on this fantastic website?
A. Yes, bring a camera or Spudfingers may be taking snaps. You may even be videoed and up on You Tube. (spuds never there so not very likley)

Good news, making progress on skippy the cabriolet ( yes we have a cab, ) will try and get it to this meet taxed MOTed and insured.  Wish me luck

If your lucky we'll turn up on time for the meet, met another cabby owner in GSF today an gonna try to bring him along to the forum/meet.

I gave him an AGM flyer as we had two here so maybe another VW MK1 member soon eh

He's got a nice grey 1.8 injection karman? Cabby an done quite a bit of work to it, also tried to sell it but could not let go of her in the end..

At the bottom of the page, this is not normal Milton Keynes behaviour.

All lights work and horn works on the cab, changed a couple of bulbs, but we are there now. Windscreen wipers and washers work. Exhaust - new, top mounts - new (thanks raj) changed inlet manifold and gasget, (thanks funk) the only thing I'm unsure about is rear brakes !!!!

What else to check for MOT ?

Check play in wheel bearings, CV/ball joint/steering rack gaiters and make sure the rear brakes are working OK.

tyres……. shocks/coilovers for leaks,condition,etc.. handbrake… seatbelts.. drivers seat mounting..

Just put it in for mot, let them pick up the issues and then you have 10 days to fix :-)

Get ideas r5eady for the fancy dress theme for the AGM… need to work out what we are all doing…  :twisted:
