How to find paint code

im looking for the paint code for my mk1,

im torn between 2 colours it could be.

Frost blue and regatta blue.

Or even better if anyone can confirm its said colours.

Bring your car to a paint shop, and they'll find the exact color for you :)
I'm Norwegian, so my English isn't the best!

is the sticker missing from the boot?

The color has probably changed some over the years anyways. I'd suggest getting someone who know's this stuff to check it.

What year is the car and model?
There is usually a build sticker on the cross member in the boot.
They are sometimes missing though.

I think you may be able to get it from the vin number??
Not 100% sure on that though.

they owner i bought it from said to me 100% its original paint. if i post a pic will someone be able to tell me?

1983 hatchback will be Regatta Blue, the pic confirms it for me!

Its not frost! That colour wasn't available in 1983, it was much earlier. And, the pic is pretty convincing to me, even allowing for the different lighting etc in the photo.

Yeah but only in the USA. Is yours a US car? Do you want people not to help you or are you just really cautious about getting it 100% right? I can't really add any more info, someone else can confirm or deny its Regatta blue metallic. My parents bought a Regatta metallic car from new and owned it for 8 years, I know what the colour's like etc etc I'm not just having a random guess!!!!!!

It'll be regatta, hopefully someone didn't remove the sticker.
