So todays efforts in volved the following;

while looking for the cause of the lack of indicators i noticed the birds nest of wires that were hanging from the fuse box

 so armed with some side cutters and a stanley blade i ended up with this pile

Joys of old alarms and botched wiring.

Also swapped the BRIGHT silver stereo with a nice black sony item, much less offensive and has bluetooth and a aux in for my iphone.

I had noticed that the dash rattled like buggery but put it down to the coilovers……..i was wrong.
3 screws held the dash/undertrays and centre console in place!!! no more rattles and the dash is fixed as it should be!

Also noticed this on the driver vent

how the hell i missed it untill now is beyond me?

lucky for me i have a vast stock of parts so its now got this in replacement.

Also noticed that the rear bench was not latching in on the passenger side, a quick look and there was a carpeted mdf board screwed to the back, thus stopping the seat from going far enough back, 3 screws later and its in the bin, also cured the rattle from the back!
