TOP! marks for your determination there.Most would have given up long ago.Citi Golfs must have been built useing a low grade steel similar to Landrover Discovery and Austin Montego, I have seen a few like this which is a shame because otherwise they were a very good car.Looking forward to the end result

I did finish the golf but before it was finished i had to buy a car to get to work, i bought a mk1 golf 5 door 1.5 auto

I sold the citi for £1000 which was a loss but i fell in love with the auto golf, here is a picture

More to come on this soon - I'm the new owner, so pleased with this car. Got some big plans…

maybe i wont be doing anything with this after all.. was sold the car with the understanding that all the welding was done and good, took it to MOT and most of the welding was just ripped off BY HAND and now i have a £2500 welding quote. not happy at all.
