so here it is, my 1983 mk1 golf with 160 thousand miles full service history and 1 owner from new!!!

so as you can see its in a sorry state. the trained eye will spot the flat spots dint scratches and 2 colours. but hopefully will be all sorted soon,

Those who are clever enough will have spotted the first mod,

thanks mate. there are many mods to come but the removing of the plate wasnt my first.

Nah it's just people interested and reading then moving on to read other threads. I must have to admit, I'm a thread grazer!

i have also noticed the amount of people reading and not posting. but small amounts of good information is much better than 10 posts saying it needs be lower etc.
uk-mkivs had a lot more members who sat on there pc and paying other people to do there cars whereas on here everyone is busy updating there own threads after spending 3 hours after work welding there car.

you wont get much stretch on those, but you'll get a tiny bit with 155/55/14's
