cool, only thign to add is that it looks liek he has the wire colours switched, black goes to the +ve/15 side of coil and red/black and/or green to the -ve/1 side. though not sure if it really makes a difference but it would offend my wiring ocd if you did it backwards
to simplify, chop the 3 pin polo coil plug off, brown wire you dont need, black wire to coil +ve, black/green to TCI unit pin 6. then the tci pin 4 black goes to coil +, pin 1 red/black or green to coil -ve and pin 2 brown off to battery -ve.
you may have 2 wires spare that used to go to the dizzy those are binned
Awesome thank you, will let you know how I get one. Going to start a thread for my Golf soon, it's been a 9 month job getting this conversion right. The cool thing is I bet everyone's done there's slightly differently. Would be good to get more topics on this subject going!
